How The Kasco Aerator Works

In order to drive water into the air, Kasco Surface Aerators spin a propeller in the water. This increases the water's contact with the air by breaking it up into small droplets. Increased contact facilitates the absorption of oxygen and the release of gases, such as carbon dioxide. Other aeration systems that depend on diffusers or bubblers at the bottom are not like this one.

These aerators are very successful for rapidly improving the quality of water since they can quickly saturate the water with oxygen, adding up to 3.0 pounds of oxygen per horsepower every hour.

Kasco C-25 120V Control Panel with Timer/Photocell

Kasco's Control Panels are easy to install and quick to set up. Just plug into your regular 120 volt 15 Amp outlet and you are ready to connect both your aerator and your lights. The timer turns the aerator on, and when the aerator is running the photocell will turn the lights on at dusk. When the timer turns the aerator off, the lights turn off too.

It can be used for Kasco's JF, AF, and VFX series of floating aerating fountains and with any other manufacture's 120-volt equipment.
